(Dallas) Sept. 2009 – Fashion Group International (FGI) of Dallas rocked at the Neiman MarcusFashion’s Night Out at Willow Bend on Thursday, September 3, 2009. The special event for Fashion Group members was created by FGI member and NM Public Relations Manager, Chuck Steelman.It proved to be a race against the clock as members played a fashion hunt game to win a pair of fabulous Chanel sunglasses.
Members attended the Top Ten Trends Fashion Presentation, shoe and handbag fashion show, met shirt designer Robert Stock for Robert Graham in the Men’s Store, and had photo ops with Miss Texas, Kristen Blair. Book signing took place by Ebby Halliday, “The First Lady of Real Estate” and Mike Cox, “The History of Texas Oil”.The most popular vignette was the fashion illustration artist who patiently sketched customers’ portraits throughout the evening.
The final event of the evening was the Major Black Dress Fashion Presentation in the “Leopard Lounge”. Members shopped till they dropped and the lucky winner of the Chanel sunglasses was Amy Harper, RD Elect for FGI.
